@Gaara…i read ur comment..u think he would suck now..i would disagree..it seems like u took a blow when i said his automatic defense his gone..but that doesn’t mean his sand armor is gone because he puts that up with his own chakra usage…but hey me and u got 2 different feelings on how his new moves would be to him..if they were to bring him back into the fight. but i think u misunderstood me a bit when i said he’s lazy..gaara back than was lazy to a point where if u got pass his defense u could punch and kick’em easily..Dont get me wrong i dont want gaara to become a highly active taijutsu user but..i think he should know how to defend himself physically instead relying on the hand if someone happen get passed him..cuz think of it this way he wouldn’t have to rely on luck when kinimaro almost stabbed him..wouldn’t it be better if u got passed gaara’s sand defense but unexpectedly he kicked ya ass or was highly evasive if u got too close..i think that would be cool to know.

Hmmm about Gaara, yeah I guess it would be cool if he knew a lil Taijutsu, but I still think he should have that sand barrier.
Yeah man 15-16years old is definetly 2 young. I already thought that they were way 2 young in Naruto for the stuff they were doing. But yeah they definetly should make another timeskip… I mean com’on there is noway that 15-16 year old ninjas stand a chance against ppl who r 20 and up, they just have 2 much experience in fighting especially MADARA, he is ages old man he fought at times where the 4th was still alive, he could control the Ninetailed fox and then there is pein who has the legendary eyes and then there is also Itachi who might be able 2 surrpass Madara man all those guys are just 2 experienced. There is no way that those youngsters should stand a chance against them.
Naruto needs 2 learn how 2 control his power, Rock Lee needs 2 surpass Gai, Neji needs 2 surpass his uncle and yeah pretty much everything else u said 2.
Oh yeah and another thing, Jiraya freakin stood no chance against Pein and he is like 40something and the one of the greatest ninjas in Naruto history so yeah, a timeskip is needed.

But what I’m thinkin is that they will prob. defeat most of them till like 2-3 Villains r left( Maybe Sasuke, Orochimaru and pein or Madara)
and then they will make another time skip and add a few Villains 2 the story. I’m thinkin about something like Orochimaru staying in his lil labory and making creatures or whateva lolz naaahh prob. not but IDK.

yea i think the time skip could make room for new villains, but if u look at it now there aren’t much villains left..the 3 are itachi, madara, and pein..the sub villains are kabuto, that chick who hangs wit pein, and zetsu. Out of the sub villains kabuto would be the only one to shed light upon cuz we actually seen his skills. But zetsu is a cannibal who takes orders from pein, so when pein is gone i feel he’s just going to wander the countries..same goes for the chick..kabuto is only one who knows everyone on the show, and has potential to be a great villain cuz he got so of Oro. inside of him.

exactly everything u said is right..jaraiya basically got creamed against pein..dont get me wrong he definitely did his thing I can’t stress that enough..but killing one out of 6 is bad numbers..i thought they would gave him some credit and kill atleast 2 or 3..just to show jaraiya really went hard in his battle..And yes madara is basically prehistoric in age..and itachi even though he’s the youngest he’s skills was already shined upon to be acknowledged as someone serious cuz all the sanins are in their 50’s and he could fight against them..But jumping off topic..don’t u think its bull shit how itachi’s character never improved from naruto thru the shippuden its like the time skip put him at disadvantage cuz everyone is getting strong around him..also for someone who doesn’t use his mangekyou very often (compared to the over emphasized madara usage of it b4 he took his bros eyes) why is that he’s eyes fatigue him so much…I mean itachi knows he needed sasuke’s eyes from the jump so im pretty sure he didnt use is mangekyou very often.

LoL never thought about that but yeah it’s true, it seems like Itachi hasn’t improved at all, and another thing I have noticed is that it seems like the character who has improved the most during the timeskip is Sasuke don’t u think??? 2 me it seems like none of the other genins back in naruto could stand a chance against him right now except for Gaara. It kinda pisses me of 2, I was talkin about this with my friends and I noticed that Naruto hasn’t improved as much as he should’ve. I mean com’on he trained with one of the 3 sannin. He still isn’t able 2 use rasengan with just one hand which pisses me of. He only has 2 jutsus it seems like, the rasengan and kagebunshin WTF!!!! The only thing he has improved is his freakin rasengans power WOW. Dude I was soo pissed the first time a read all the shippuden chapters. If by some reasons I didn’t catch something about the naruto from Shippuden then please enlighten me, I would love 2 hear that he has a new jutsu or something!!!!
Oh yeah and u forgot 2 mention Kisame but not that it’s a big deal, I don’t think he plays a big part in this anime. Actually I think he is just about as strong as Deidara, well maybe stronger but I think out of all the Vilains left he is the weakest. NVM that lady is but he comes right after her in my opinion.

u right sasuke’s been gone forever..they didnt show u any of his hardships but yet his character improved the most..and u right naruto isn’t any different from when he left as a kid only for his rasengan becoming more powerful..he doesn’t have any new moves..as for the genins back that village i feel sasuke could beat all of them with exception of rock lee and neji (neji himself is a road this whole site been down already so im not gonna entice that), But rock lee already proved that sasuke’s eyes arent fast enough to keep up with his speed, so imagine the speed of lee now..cuz even though team gai’s group play the background alot..they’re definitely a team to take seriously..

if u ask me..naruto was all about naruto..but naruto shippuden is all about sasuke..i can even lie sasuke makes me sick..atleast all the other ninjas show u how tough they are..hinata stands up to countless attacks by neji..neji takes a dozen kunais to back not to mention a direct hit from the arrow of the spider guy in order to beat him…rock lee get’s permanently injured and stands up to gaara, not too mention he can fight unconscious in other fights…everyone has taken a beaten to give a beaten on that show..but only one who hasn’t is sasuke, whener he actually does get some mild damage, he starts talking about itachi, and naruto saves the days..they got him on that luck shit that i dont like..

so i`ve been gone for a while but i`ve been reading all the comments ep 46 to now and i agree with god and gaara. its seems like everybody fell of and just did nothing while sasuke became god almost. and i hate to say it because this is something i started back in ep 44 but neji would do some damage and also gaara because he basically bitch slapped sasuke even after sasuke did three chidori`s and naruto save his ass. and i agree with god that naruto was about naruto but shippuden is more about sasuke and we didn`t even get to see any of his training with sucks. i bet orochimaru injected him with steriods or hgh or something

It’s sad how Sasuke is the only one who seems to have done any “real” training, since they are only showing his improvement. Obviously, they’re saying Itachi didn’t get any stronger. That doesn’t make any sense. For someone who wants ultimate power, it’d make sense for him to be stronger. If anyone read Chapter 389, it’s another classic example of Sasuke fighting someone fatigued and injured. Amaterasu should burn him hotter than hell could.

It does seem like there is more of a focus on sasuke in the recent events in the naruto manga. I see the nonsense that occured in the Itachi fight and if he does not die or is fatally wounded by the amateratsu I give up. Naruto is obviously the stronger of the two though, as is established when he ended that ninja’s two hearts with one blow saving kakashi and choji. I mean we saw what naruto would have done to diedara if he would have got his hands on him, and what sasuke did was merely survive. I see what you guys are saying but there has to be a reason for what the creator is doing in this sasuke, Itachi fight. All the youngsters have gotten stronger in the current series its just that there hasn’t been a story with much of a focus on them. I mean shikamaru did take out an immortal by himself. Rock Lee is a chunning now and based on the style of ninja he was before (fighting unconscious and drunk) I have to trust that he can give anyone a problem or death. Gaara does have to learn taijutsu because the sand isn’t going to think for itself anymore because he had the demon protecting him, those sand barriers wont come up automatically anymore and technically it will make him a better fighter than before. I still hold my statement true about Neji being able to beat sasuke, his chackra focus has grown immense. @ Madara it seems as though your theory has been held to be true as shown in manga 389, so unlike gaara said it was not an excuse but in fact an accurate description.

I once heard the phrase that sasuke is pulling a gohan he is put in a situation where by all means he should lose and somehow his opponent falls apart. This reminds me of when goku beat brolly which made absolutely no sense. I still don’t think Itachi will lose though, sasuke has mistaken his temporary success as a guaranteed win… that is why he is going to lose

Kisame actually has more chackra than Pein so he is by far not the weakest, he just doesn’t think before he jumps into a situation kind of like naruto. Remember that last jinchurriki that Itachi and kisame caught Kisame actually did all the work.

@Pein..As for Kisame having more chakra than pein..thats true but i dont think he could beat any of the significant villains..i would count him as a sub villain only because itachi basicallyhad to stop kisame from getting his ass bust by kakashi..cuz this cartoon basis u on 2 things to win a match..chakra and style..style could mean genius, special skill etc…so i think is still outof league against the 3 top villains..he prbably is the strongest sub villain

I haven’t seen this much favortism in any anime on any one character that wasn’t the main character… ever. It’s truly sad and almost apalling. You mean to tell me, Sasuke who wasn’t stronger than Orochimaru (By the Orochimaru got his ass handed to him by Itachi) is actually putting a beatdown on Itachi? It’s pure garbage. If Sasuke beats Itachi, I think the real people who agree with the balance of power would either have to boycott or just plainly think Kishimoto is losing his mind (I certainly hope that’s not the case.) Next thing you know, Madara and Pein will be losing to Konohamaru’s team next.

Yeah, Sasuke learned Taijutsu wit Kakashi and mimic’d it with his Sharingan, but it puts more of a strain on his body since he hasn’t done the training for Taijutsu that Rock Lee has. And how is Sasuke stronger than Orochimaru if, the entire time of the Part II (Shippuden) he’s been catching attitudes and telling Orochimaru to practically train him all the time? If he were stronger, none of that would have been necessary.

Sasuke was put in the weakest form of itachi’s genjutsu not the same as the one he put kakashi in which was the one that you mistakenly mentioned that lasts for 72 hours and by the way kakashi was only in that for a couple of seconds and nearly died from the stress of the stabbing. Sasuke is not stronger than orochimaru he beat him in a dieing state as sasuke himself admitted, let me reiterate sasuke himself admitted that this was the reason why he defeated orochimaru. I still do not think that sasuke will win this battle and I m entitled to my opinion genius. I interpreted the the theme differently from you and remember you are reading wikipedia because I told you to do research before jump out of your skin with the random overly opinionated comments. You admitted yourself you just learned the english language so i think you are having trouble interpreting it. To be honest with you everyone else has schooled you on naruto in this forum so that has to be reason why your comments have no basis or heavy ground to stand on. Rock Lee’s strong fist taijutsu is imitated but to a point it cannot be performed like he himself does it, he does push ups using his index and thumb. And by the way the fact that you would be implying that sasuke is currently stronger than a legendary sanin who killed the third hokage and the 5th kazekage, you have to truly rethink that opinion. Orochimaru gave sasuke everything he has including the full sharigan and if you think about what sasuke said when he told oro there is nothing more he can teach him it showed a sign of impatience not that he actually thought he was stronger which is the exact reason why he attacked oro when he did, don’t get me wrong it was a good strategy but nothing more.

Usually, when someone from the Akatsuki speaks, it’s the gospel truth. Didn’t we invade your village Gaara? I specifically remember that. We raided the village… killed off ya character, stole your bijuu. And went off to the next town. But they brought you back to life. Be appreciative… they could’ve left you… and then you would’ve woken up dead.
Sasuke went to Orochimaru to be trained. Sasuke wasn’t stronger than Orochimaru. Sasuke felt as if he learned more than enough from Orochimaru. Sasuke is indeed a child prodigy (genius.) But in terms of raw power above all else, Orochimaru was originally slated to become the Fourth Hokage, so that lets you know how strong he was. Sasuke is nowhere near Kage-level yet.. Obviously, he will be later on the series. But as of right now… no. If Orochimaru was of Kage-level ability and (once again I state this) Itachi crushed him, what does that make him?

@ Gaara. i just want to say that i am sticking with thefact the sasuke can’t catch up to lee in speed or his taijutsu..only because of the simply fact that lee’s taijutsu consist of his speed it goes hand and hand..but madara already took the words out of my mouth when he commented back on that issue..sasuke copied it but not fully and he could never fully copy it.. to address the matter with sasuke being stronger than orochimaru ur out of ur mind..we dont have to read a manga to know that..just read in between the lines…orochimaru wants his eyes, so why we would he just freely teach sasuke everything he knows, knowing that sasuke would leave if he did..So that shuts concept down about sasuke telling oro, he’s leaving…that is true sasuke does want to leave the care of oro..but realize that kabuto and oro already know why sasuke was even taken under the wing..so dont gwet carried away and say wedont know whose stronger. The only thing I can say is, i have to agree with Voice, because we may not accept that outcome due to the fact, itachi, who was kick-ass super-bad in part 1. Getting practically beat at very corner by a guy who’s current sensei (orochimaru) he’s not stronger than… nor is he stronger than his brother. Maybe Sasuke’s WILL is allowing him to be so cheesy. He doesn’t have any cheesy dormant power like Gohan. In the end, his will, will be his downfall. And @ Pein. If Gaara dropped dead in the sand and nobody was around… would it have made a sound?

Sasuke beat Naruto in his 2tailed nine fox cloak, he beat orochimaru( ok he was weakened I kno that), he beat Deidara by himself, he actually stands a chance against Itachi by himself. None of the genins back in Naruto could have done all that by themselves axcept for maybe Gaara..And now u guys star talkin about how Itachi has lost his strength or whatever… Itachi is still as strong as he used 2 be. I also remember when they fought at the Valley of the End (Sasuke and Naruto of course) that Naruto chose to only scratch the head band of Sasuke to prove a point rather than try to kill him. I can not believe what is going on in this forum. I mean, this is war between how the manga and anime should be some fans or how the author has in his mind for the actual anime. I have been following your comments from episode 44, when pein and gaara were arguing about who is stronger or better ninja (neji or sasuke…)
I am a 29 years old man who loves this anime and I live my life by the main message in the story. The message that you always must believe in yourself, also when it does not matter what people may think about you, only your determination and hard work can give you everything in life. The love for your close friends and how important is to protect those individuals who are significant in your life. I just love the anime and I try to live my life with those values.
However, I have to step up in the middle of this argument because pein, madara and voice are having a lot fun making look paka (stupid) lol the comments from gaara. Gaara may have taken one his comment to far when he said that sasuke was a kage level…no way possible. He has good points in his comment and I believe as well that at this point in the naruto anime sasuke is the strongest of his generation of genins. You guys are blind with your favorites characters and can not see beyond your opinion.
There is no way that neji and rock can kill orochimaru even in the ill conditions. Furthermore, they can defeat dederia or at this point face itachi…no way possible. You have to admit that sasuke has increase his power and he is the strongest from his generation at this point in the anime and manga.
Finally, I would like to add that the gaara will have the last laugh because it is mean to be that sasuke kill itachi maybe no now in this fight and then mandara. Naruto will be the strongest ninja in the village and become hokage after he kills pein because he is the choosen kid… you all have a great knowledge of the anime and that is the reason why a I am here reading your comments. The only reason I got to this point with Gaara was exactly for the reason I told him… The way he presents his comments make it seem like we are just idiots in his pool of knowledge. Thats why I made fun of him and possibly it’s the same reason for the other two.
As I think everyone stated sasuke did not kill orochimaru he reversed his absorbing technique and orochimaru winded up getting absorbed , he did not physically fight orochimaru as did naruto. That point can be easily read and proven if they had fought oro would have killed sasuke. He did not kill diedara because diedara killed himself and as read in the manga the whole time diedara thought about Itachi, so it was basically an Itachi lead suicide, things like that happen in life, where people are willing to kill themselves to prove a point.
Look at what kakashi did to diedara, and look at what naruto did to diedara’s clone, after seeing what naruto did diedara decided to try and escape. You cant prove that neji or lee would have not beat diedara they never fought you are making an assumption to prove a point for the character you are defending but in the end it is an assumption. Based on the skills that lee and neji presented up to date I think they would have beaten diedara but that is my opinion.

Lol anyone can face Itachi, the point is to beat him. I f Neji or Lee had a grudge against Itachi yes they would face him by themselves that is what usually happens in a grudge match. Neji was training to kill his uncle and the whole head family because he thought they killed his father, that’s the point of a grudge you’re pushed to a point where you just want to make something happen, and these guys are fighting with natural strength I am pretty sure you put a cursed seal on any one of these two, they would not need to absorb orochimaru for extra strength. I took a two day vacation from the forum to come back to someone preaching about Gaara’s making total sense (No disrespect Gaara) but still… This is an abomination… Sasuke is the strongest of the Rookie 9? That’s a laugh. Even though it’s heavily debated upon. It looks to be untrue. It’s just a case of Sasuke getting all the screen time and everything is going his way because of his delayed abscence in the anime. Don’t get me wrong, he has improved Gradually.But they tend to make it seem he is the only one who has improved and no one else has. It even looks like Itachi is weaker after the timeskip. Even after his 30% clone worked Naruto and Kakashi who is obviously stronger than Sasuke and has the Mangekyou. But somehow, someway, Sasuke fights the real Itachi. And now Itachi is suffering from all these effects and diseases. What’s next? They’re gonna say Itachi’s suffering from the snakes poison? This is bull.

But you act like creators are perfect in what they create and how they present it? Oh yeah and about that link, what it says in there doesn’t have 2 mean that it’s right it’s just another fans opinion, a pretty awesome one but we don’t know if it really is like that unless u read the whole thing and it actually said somewhere that Kishi wrote this.
