  I thoroughly enjoyed this manga with the exception of naruto going soft on sasuke and this whole third option crap… he should have let kakashi kill him, I mean kishi did say it would be his year. Sasuke is being saved for what? the revival of the Rikudo sage?

  naruto is still gay..pein should of been naruto’s best friend (granted they’re at way different ages jus speaking freely)..i feel their history is more compatable..naruto doesnt back down, pein doesnt back down great personalities..

  manga wise..naruto should of kept the new friendship wit neji and lee going.. after sasuke left..but the fool wants to change the script and subject us to the inferior “uchiba” storyline lol..a scared cat looking for power lol..cat nip

  Kakashi wasn’t holding naruto back because he felt like he couldn’t defeat sasugay, he held naruto back because he felt it was his (kakashi’s) responsibility to eliminate sasugay.

  -I see what you’re saying after sasuke left kishi had this whole friendship starting with neji lee and naruto then completely eliminated it when sasuke came back around.
  The similarities between naruto and pein would have made for a good bond but that is exactly one of the reasons why pein was eliminated.

  The whole manga ethos is about bonds.That’s the driving force behind the story.Kishi just showed us what the ties/bonds are like(in the case of lee and neji)To the main character Naruto, Sasuke is/was the most important bond he formed.And that has now been explained.

  Nagato could never have been his friend imo as he was introduced to the manga to be the flipside of naruto or a barometer for us readers to gauge his strength and see his virture,in play.

  I’m a longtime reader in here,from the days of big kev and that,not much into the posting as it gets kind of testy in here…somewhat gay if you like lol.

  I probably won’t again,like someone said recently the sites dead and going though the motion(funny that)but hey before it’s dead i thought i’d post lol.

  I made good use of the word elimination because there have been many of them in this manga.

  I agree with that in totality. Pein and Naruto do have similar qualities. That allegiance would have better served this manga.
  This whole “he’s my bff shyt” is annoying me to death.

  Kishi should find some way to heal Sasuke. And let hi$ a$$ get destroyed by Kakashi.
  Albeit, of course Naruto’s gonna save him.
  And maybe.. This third option… Is whatever power Itachi gave him.
  I’ve been anticipating this since 403. Its freaking 485 now.
  He (kishimoto) is drawing all this out for some big climatic battle.
  I doubt it will be as climatic as as Pein vs Naruto.
  So everything is slowly going downhill from here.

  I actually agree! Pein and Naruto alliance would be much better than what’s going on now.
  Add the history of the Uchiha it would actually be perfect. Well of the Sharingan. To have the rinnegan, sharingan, and the will of fire that the senju had to determine the final battle and have the answer that the Sage of 6Paths sought out possible would be perfect. He believed (Sage) that son (Senju) would find the answer anyway. So although the blood has thinned out the Shodai and Madara are cousins. Lol. Had to put that. But if it would have happened (Pein/Naruto) it would be as if the Sage is backing the son he believed in from the get go! Not always about power. But Naruto and Pein alliance is just great. Too bad though. Itachi is my favorite character after Naruto but if he was to keep one alive I would have said Pein because he is the best and he has the eyes that started it all. But Naruto/Pein alliance would have been too great! Naruto/Itachi alliance would have been togreat. That would have been like creating an entire football team on Madden and having everythig 99!! Or like the Dream Team being a real NBA team!! Or the Redeem Team! Or coming back to the story! The reason Konoha was considered the greatest village. Top 2 clans well 3 including Hyuuga clan forming a village together. Can’t beat that.

  Yeah, the Pein/Naruto alliance would be great.
  But if we are really talking about dream teams.
  It would have to be Itachi and Pein. The two most badest dudes, Kishi had shown us.
  If Itachi didn’t have a random anime cancer and if Pein never walked into that convo jutsu…
  Those two could have whipped the ass of the entire shinobi world.
  Or saved it. Either or… All that power. The mastery of the Rinnegan.
  The mastery of the Sharingan and Mangekyou. Death would befall all of those who fought them..

  But u know someway somehow one of them dies. With just Pein Kisame and Itachi excluding Madara left in Akatuski was a dream team. Just imagine if Itachi and Pein had the same motives. They would he ultimate. They would be greater than any alliance in the history of anime!! Lol. Imagine a roaming your nightmares against Pein. Lol!! But whatever it’s all a fantasy.

  Naruto is dangerously in love… Of course he is willing to die with his boo. Kishimoto’s intellect for the anime has decreased so dramatically that he can’t even give Naruto decent answers.

  Hence, the “Convo Jutsu Saga” and now “Suicidal Boo Saga”.
