Orochimaru put Kakashis eye in. And at the time. Orochimaru was still in the village which is why he didn’t keep the eye. And besides look at kakashi and Danzo they keep it covered. If he would have put them in for himself it would have been active at all times. Meaning he would basically have both eyes clothes at all times. Having it active waste consumes chakra.
And with Naruto. Remember he was in Sage mode then. Plus when he is in SageFox mode his body heals. The foxs yin or good chakra heals his wounds. And also when Minato restored the seal his body healed as well because of the yin chakra. The chakra gives him the ability to heal faster. Open wounds can heal almost immediately. Omuibor whatever her whatever the nappy headed hoe name is (lol!!! I’m black stay cool)!!! She just beat the hell out of him. Bruises. And whatever is. That won’t heal as fast as open wounds because there is no where for the foxs chakra to leak.
Oh with Orochimaru again. He needed a body not just eyes. He wanted to live forever as well. He only wanted the Uchihas because he would be able to copy jutsus. He was obssessed. He would have been old as Tsunade and Jiriaya had he only took the eyes for himself. And besides the village would have foundout and the 4th would have dealt with him

these events happened before his arms were sealed. Neji (forum) said if he gave Danzo and kakashi their eyes why didn’t he keep them his self since he was so obssessed with the uchihas.
So I replied with he was still in the village when he gave Kakashi his eyes. This was while Kakashi was young. Orochimaru wasn’t a missin nin. Before he went crazy. Hell itachi was probably a only a child. But as I was saying. Orochimaru wasn’t obssessed with jutsu then. Maybe he was. But he wanted a body. He wanted the total package. Body and eyes. He couldn’t just take the eyes. Reason being.
Kakashi keeps his eye covered because the sharingan is active when his eye is open. He is not a bloodline uchiha so he can’t change it back. The sharingan eye was inserted. If Orochimaru had taken Obitos eyes for himself then they would be active at all times. And his body would age. So he wanted the entire body. Not just eyes. Why have eyes that will be activated at all time. The mangeykou would have produced and eventually go blind. While aging.

Hmm… Let’s compare the three eyes then.
Please correct me on the abilities of the three great eyes if I miss something.
Byakugan(White Eyes)-I’m not a nerd on what it is capable of, but it provides a wide range of eye sight. From what I heard it isn’t a chakra based ability unlike the Sharingan. It provides abilities to completey stop the opponents chakra flow. It can see chakra as well as the Sharingan and the Rin’negan, yet it’s more precise on the flow than just seeing it alone. Provides a very strong defense that can be broken, but not in the easy case.
Sharingan(Wheel)- From what I understand the Sharingan has a level of five. When the Sharingan is first unlocked it has one dot outside the base of the eye. The more you fight the more advance it becomes in sight. When it reaches the third level the Sharingan becomes an adult Sharingan. Mimic abilities become more advance and it grows from being familiar with not just ninjutsu and taijitsu, but also genjutsu.
The fourth level is the Mangekyou that releases a ultimate technique out of the three basic categories in battle. The Mangekyou unlocks either a ability of genjutsu, taijutsu or ninjutsu. The final level is the Eternal Mangekyou that has only been obtained by Madara. It allows immortality and allows you to control the most sinister Kyuubi, Nine Tail Fox.
Rin’negan- Not so sure on how badass the Rin’negan is, but… The Rin’negan discoved the ninja world and the arts of ninjutsu. Based off Pein’s young age and the wide range of abilities he aquired, the Rin’negan is a natural bound of power not to be tampered with. Pein knew all five elements at the age 8 I believe. Later on Pein unlocks more potential with theRin’negan enabling him to create 6 bodies based off the chakra sticks in his back. Not sure if those bodies were the rebirth of the Sage of Sixth Paths. The Chibaku Tensei was one of the techniques the Sage of Sixth Paths used mentioned by Pein in chapter 439 page 8. The Rin’negan covered each others blind spots effectively and their individual single skills create a perfect team.
All I’m saying is from what I’ve seen with the three great eyes Byakugan seems to be the weakest. Rin’negan discovers ninjustsu and Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan controls a Kyuubi and allows immortality. I’m not hating because like I said before Neji is my second favorite under Sasuke. Byakugan is very deadly, but they said Rin’negan was the most powerful eye leaving the Sharingan or the Byakugan to fall under second place. It seems that Sharingan is second in my book from what I understand. I haven’t seen two adult Sharingan and Byakugan fight to support my opinion any further though.

to me Byakugan is 2nd strongest! yeah the sharingan has different forms but! like it can copy taijutsu but it means nothing if you dont have the speed! its your eyes! eyes only! means nothing if your body isnt fit or can keep up! with ninjutsu! it means nothing if u dont have the chakra. and @Sasuke
I thought the Byakugan was chakra based! maybenot! but it provides a perfect defense! u can seee chakra points. if most points or all are blocked then all u have is taijutsu and they hyuuga clans taijutsu is elite. one of the best if not the best! with the sharingan u can control the fox but thats only if u have the eternal mangyekou. which only occurred once! which makes it EXTREMELY RARE!!! There is the Mangyekou regulary. gives u three S-Ranked Jutsus. It has it advantages but you cant use it for an entire fight like the Byakugan. u can use your 3wheel though! but like u said Sasuke! It takes chakra! With the Hyuuga clan! if u watch them fight! they barely use chakra based attacks! they dont really do jutsus like your everday shinobi! The Byakugan has more advantages and its weakness is the blind spot which Neji has may go away! IF the Byakugan is not chakra based that makes it more effective! 64palms uses the most chakra but when blocking chakra points they dont use chakra! When Neji faught Hinata he didnt use his 64 palms which can be used to block the points. Plus the hits dont have to be direct! Then chakra based attacks dont work either! With the Sharingan you have your advantages but the defense is not there! ITs more offensive. u can see the movements of your opponent but if you’re not as fast its useless! IF you can see them u can still copy it though! but its mostly offensive while the byakugan is both

Byakugan is a very great skill indeed.
I still love the Sharingan though, because it’s a lot of sacrifices that has to be made to obtain the power.
Byakugan is activated at a younger age than the Sharingan therefore making the Hyuuga Clan a bit better at a young age. Sharingan is only activated at a life threatening moment.
I’m just saying… Uchiha’s were the most feared clans next to the Senji’s. Nothing was mentioned about the Hyuuga’s and their devastating power back when war was all the world knew. Not saying that they aren’t the shit, but it’s been proven by history it’s self within the manga that despite the defense the Sharingan has, it’s offense is overpowering.
Tell me how could a Byakugan match up against Itachi’s Tsukuyomi!?
When statements are made as the following:
1. When your 1-on-1 against a Sharingan your only hope is to escape.
2. If it’s 2-on-1 you attack from the behind.
With that said it is very common on why the Sharingan is a superior opponent against the Byakugan. I’m not even sure if a Byakugan could even break out a rank S-genjutsu unlike another Sharingan. Byakugan is the ultimate defense, but Sharingan is a master offense. Even if the Byakugan isn’t chakra based that doesn’t mean anything. I”m sure even with the Sharingan if you play your cards right that you would have more then enough chakra to wipe a Byakugan user.
Kishimoto needs to let these legendary eyes fight each other.

A byakugan user has the ability to see through genjutsu. And break it. The taijutsu can’t be copied. Close range attacks are suicidal. In a fight if the chakra points are blocked then there is no sharingan. This is only bringing back up the war Sasuke vs Neji!! The byakugan can damage vital points. Can damage organs with the gentle fist. Kishi abandoned the Hyuuga clan and put the story around a clan on the brink of extension. But of they were to fight he would let an Uchiha win.
