Also known as Copy Ninja Kakashi or Kakashi of the Sharingan, Katashi Hatake is a skilful and genius shinobi who attained Chunin rank at age 6 (Itachi Uchiha only managed to attend Chunin at age 10) and become a Jonin at age 13.

Jonin of the Hidden Leaf Village, he was assigned to lead and train Team 7 which includes Uzumaki Naruto, Haruno Sakura and Uchiha Sasuke.
Though not a member of the Uchiha clan, Kakashi possesses the Sharingan (an advanced bloodline trait only found in some members of the Uchiha clan) in his left eye which is surgically implanted as a gift from a dying teammate, Uchiha Obito after Kakashi’s left eye is blinded trying to protect Obito in a battle with a Rock ninja.
However, as Kakashi is a non-Uchiha, his Sharingan is always active causing him to use up more Chakra than it should. And because of this, he covers it with his headband to conserve chakra and only utilizes it in the most dangerous battles.
With the powers of the Sharingan, Kakashi has managed to copy more than a thousand jutsu and use them as his own, thus the nicknames Copy Ninja Kakashi and Kakashi of the Sharingan. As a result, Kakashi’s arsenal most prominently features ninjutsu abilities and in time, that has allowed him to develop his own powerful Mangekyo Sharingan technique. With Mangekyo Sharingan he can now create a localized interdimensional space-time warp, allowing him to send any targeted object to another dimension.
Hatake Kakashi is also the creator of Chidori, a lighting-based form of Rasengan attack and it became the only jutsu that he has not copied from anyone else. Through constant usage and increased proficiency with it, Kakashi’s Chidori has been upgraded and renamed to the ‘Lighting Blade’ due to its ability to cut through a bolt of lightning.

Kakashi also have a special summoning technique where he is able to call forth his own personal pack of ninja dogs called Ninken. Most of the time, the dogs are typically used for tracking purposes however if need be, the dogs can also hold someone in place while Kakashi catches up.
Because of his well-rounded prowess in jutsu, Hatake Kakashi is the highest-ranking technique specialist and one of the strongest ninja in Konoha.
